All original paintings are conservation framed unless otherwise stated. We now use UV70 glazing for its brilliant clarity and virtually non-reflective enhancement of the image.
Disclaimer: I am better at painting than I am at maintaining a website. Understandable: my goal is to have you buy my paintings; I do not want you to employ me to develop another poor website!
If you see a painting you like on the Paintings pages and the description does not say SOLD, then it is likely to be available even if it does not appear on this page. Please, forgive me - then ask about the piece that piques your interest. If a painting is no longer available, I enjoy responding to requests to paint the topic (or similar) again.
ALL art reproduction prints are in Limited Edition runs of 35 for each available size: original, and, for selected prints, one or two smaller sizes. All are available framed or unframed. Please feel free to discuss with us your framing requirements.
Reproduction Availability:. We hold only a few stocks of prints in our studio, preferring instead to provide you with professionally printed work hot off the press in superb condition. Our reproduction work is entrusted to one of New Zealand’s best recognised print companies.

Throughout the land, Saturday markets are a feature of our urban landscapes. Most close as winter approaches. Only the most hardy of stall keepers persist, courting a few moments of attention from their dance partners, the hardy market attendees! I went to the Christchurch market on this distinctly raw day, and was interested to observe the interplay in this relationship. Was each gaining enough to maintain the loyalty and suggest reward in returning again next Saturday? Also, I was much taken with the play of light; the islands of colour in a sombre scene, the suggestion of warmth alongside the cooking vats countering the cold damp of everywhere else, the suggestion of reflection on wet ground.
